Shipping Information
How much do you charge for shipping?
We offer FREE SHIPPING as long as your order total is at least $899 before tax (Sales tax [7%] is added to Florida orders only). If your order total is less than $899, a $99 shipping charge will apply.
*FREE SHIPPING limitations!
Since we ship out of Orlando, FL, if you live in a remote area (Wyoming, Montana, etc.) or on the West Coast of the US, we may not be able to obtain a direct shipment to your location through any of our contracted freight carriers. If that is the case, we can do one of two things:- We can use a different freight carrier to get your product to you, and additional charges will apply. This amount will vary depending on the delivery location and the weight of the order, so we will need to know the exact shipping address and what you plan on ordering.
- You can cancel your order for a full refund.
How long will it take to receive my furniture?
Most in-stock orders leave our warehouse within two business days, so depending on which part of the country you live in, you could receive your order anywhere from 4 to 14 business days after placing it.
Which method do you use for shipping?
We use common carriers to ship our freight. The order is palletized, banded and shrink-wrapped at the warehouse. In the case of sending replacement parts or hardware, we usually use UPS if the package size is small enough.
Will somebody have to be home to receive the furniture shipment?
Yes. All furniture must be signed for - no exceptions.
How will I know when my furniture is going to arrive?
The freight company books the delivery appointment with you directly, so they will usually call a day or two in advance to set up the time window. We do not set up the appointment, so if you need to get in touch with somebody about scheduling a delivery, please reference the tracking information provided in your shipping notification email, and call the freight carrier directly.
What if my furniture never arrives?
This is an extremely rare occurrence, but has been known to happen. Usually this is due to an organizational breakdown on the part of the freight company, and the furniture was accidentally put on the wrong truck.
If this happens to you, we will need to contact the freight company and begin the process of tracking down the shipment. This will cause an unavoidable delay in delivering your furniture, but we require a reasonable amount of time to locate the shipment before making the decision to re-ship your order (usually 1 week).
What can I expect to happen during the delivery?
All of our deliveries are curbside, which means the driver unloads your boxes at the end of your driveway or in front of your apartment building.
It is the driver's responsibility to breakdown the pallet and unload the individual boxes off the truck. This is so that you are able to determine if there is visible damage to any of the boxes. He/she may ask for your assistance with a bulky/heavy piece, so if you are physically able, please lend a hand.
If the driver refuses to breakdown the pallet or tries to charge you for liftgate service, please call us WHILE HE IS STILL THERE. Call 800-771-9330 and ask for Scott or Toni.
Can I pay extra for an inside delivery?
We are not able to offer inside delivery at this time. What we suggest you do is offer to tip the driver cash to bring the boxes into your garage or entry way. Keep in mind this is not going to work 100% of the time. The decision is entirely up to the driver, and he may have health or time issues that prevent him from complying, or he may just be having a horrible day and doesn't want to be nice to anybody.
Do you provide assembly service for an extra charge?
We do not offer assembly service unless you are in the Central Florida area. If you do live in Central Florida, please let us know before placing your order if you are interested in having us do the assembly.
What do I do if the furniture arrives and I suspect there is damage?
Once the driver has unloaded all of the boxes from the truck, please inspect the outside of the boxes before signing the delivery receipt. If you notice box damage, make sure you write that on the delivery receipt, as well as a notation that the shipment is "Subject to inspection." This is vital, since it is hard to file a freight claim for damage that was not indicated at the time of delivery.
